About Console Port
Q. Fail to get the console screen from console port.

A.

Please check the following points.
1. Check if the correct console cable is used for the console connection. The console cable for EtherSW 2400F/1600F is different from the console cable of Intelligent Switch (EtherSW 2402Gi/2400i/2202Fi/1201Gi/1200i/8F41Gi / ..).
2. Check if the COM port of PC is enable or disable from BIOS setting.
3. Check if the correct setting is used in the terminal program - COM port, Baud Rate (Default is 9600 for EtherSW 2400F/1600F and 115200 for Intelligent Switch), Data Bit (8 bits), Parity Bit (None), Stop Bit (1 bit), Flow Control (None)).

If Pint 1. 2. and 3. are all correct, the console screen should be displayed.
